How to ensure better than 1024X768 resolution

#1 Post by drschwartz » Tue May 05, 2009 9:25 am

I want to buy my wife a refurbished T series for mother's day. How do I ensure that it'll support better than 1024X768? Any suggestions where to go?

TIA,
David

The seller should specify which resolution it is. Also, often they specify the exact 7-digit model number (if they don't, you should ask for it), which you can look up on Lenovo's website and find out the resolution (and other aspects of the machine).
Current: X220 4291-4BG, T410 2537-R46, T60 1952-F76, T60 2007-QPG, T42 2373-F7G
Collectibles: T430s (IPS FHD + Classic Keyboard), X32 (IPS Screen)
Retired: X61 7673-V2V, A31p w/ Ultrabay Numpad
Past: Z61t 9440-A23, T60 2623-D3U, X32 2884-M5U

Sellers don't tend to know jack. Interestingly, I looked up the part number (2373-nu7) at Lenovo and they couldn't find anything.

Alas, that's a T40 with XGA.

Yeah, and that's actually the vendor I've been chatting with!

Thanks,

The best, easiest, and probably safest, deals will be in the marketplace forum here: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewforum.php?f=11

OpenSearch plugin to show Lenovo model numbers:
