I just purchased an X301 - first thing I did was blow out the lenovo install and do a clean install of Vista 64-bit. Must say, the laptop is exceeding my expectations (with the only issue being fan noise for me, but TPFanControl fixed that to a small amount - wish the fan speeds were more adjustable).
Anyway, when I hit Fn+F5 I see options for the 802.11 and Wireless USB radios. I want to connect a bluetooth item to the laptop. I installed the bluetooth software from the lenovo website but it doesn't seem to come up in the Fn+F5 screen.
This may sounds like a dumb question - but is wireless USB compatible with bluetooth or does my unit not have a bluetooth radio?
Many thanks in advance.
X301 and no Bluetooth but Wireless USB?
