R51 (2887-k2g) Hang on bios with usb key connected

Hi there!
I've a strange problem...
I've got an usb kingston 8gb key that boots perfectly (linux) on another pc, but on my R51 the bios hang with the key inserted.
With a 2gb key everything is ok.

Any suggestion?
I've the latest bios rev.

Hi: I have never tested that model, but it is common for machines of that vintage to have a 2 GB limit

WORKS!
I've found that the BIOS require 1 minute to POST (with the 2 gig pen , it was almost immediate), but works!
Dunno why...anyway thanks!
