Hello.

I am looking for upgrading memory of my laptop.

When I purchase 2 of PC2-5300 CL4 memory, could X61s recognize them as CL4?

or No matter how fast they are, does X61s works at CL5?

You can run DDR2 PC2-6400 • CL=6 or DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5. I wouldn't muck about with anything else ...

In my experience and judging by other posts in our forum, I don´t believe you will see any performance boost on your platform from the different latencies, it would be basically only wasted money.
