600 backslash key.

Hi Folks!

Can anyone please offer advice on this.. I'm trying to write the backslash on my 600E and 600, but all I can get is the hash sign # when I press the \ key.
I've tried differant language setups and various key combinations to no effect.
I've tried googling this, and have seen others with the same problem, but no answers..
