Thinkpad T61 goes "dead" during Sleep Mode

Hey, y'all...

I just received my T61 back from EasyServ yesterday; they replaced the "Planar Card ASM External Video"--which I assume is the Nvidia 140m in the machine. The problems I had before the repair--"memory parity" BSODs--have gone away.

But an equally annoying problem has now cropped up; when I put my machine to sleep (I'm running Windows 7 RC1), at some point the machine goes completely "dead." I mean that even the indicator lights don't light up when I plug the machine in. After some Google searching, I read a bunch about 'overcharged capacitors' and the magical "press the power button 10 times, then hold it for 30 seconds." (Improbably?) this does seem to do the trick, and the machine boots up. But it has now gone dead at least three separate times.

Anyhow, any suggestions? Lenovo is sending another overnight box my way (the machine is still under warranty), but I hate to lose it again. Do you think they could have installed the new 'planar card' incorrectly? I've never had these sorts of issues before.
