Hi guys
My audio all of the sudden stopped working and I have tried reinstalling audio drivers from Lenovo site.
And tried system restore. In device manager everything looks ok. Very strange
Nothing worked... Any ideas

Re: Audio not working
Top left panel of your keyboard - to the right of the blue "Access IBM" button, have you tried pressing the middle Arrow Up audio button a few times (say 10 times) to make sure the volume is turned up?
Apologies for asking the obvious!
WARNING
When you first start up the TP, press F1 key to enter bios screen; when there press the A key repeatedly - do you get any beeps from the speaker?
If yes then the audio hardware is OK.
If no audio - Stay with the bios screen; get a pair of headphones and plug them into blue (green? sorry I'm a bit colour blind) socket on the left hand side of the TP, press the A key again - can you hear beeps out of them?
If you can hear audio in the headphones, then try pulling the jack plug in and out of the socket a few times. Do you now get any audio beeps from the speakers?
If still not working, remove the keyboard and front palm bezel.
Is the speaker connector plugged into the mating connector on the motherboard - it's the four pin plug next to the CMOS battery connector.
Also check the side headphone (and mic) connectors for dust - they are under the CPU fan assembly air intake and a notorious dust trap.
You should be able to remove the fan assembly without removing the keyboard bezel but don't forget to remove the 10mm screw under the base.
Once out, gently clean away the dust and try again with the headphone plug a few times.
Refit the fan assembly again and into the bios screen - If you've still got no beeps via either the headphones or speakers, then I guess there's a hardware fault.
I've deliberately not used the OS on your hard disk so the basic audio haredware function can be checked.
If you get beeps when in bios but not when the OS is booted, then it's probably a software fault and someone else will no doubt be able to help.
<EDIT> added a couple more suggestions

WARNING
- The next steps use the bios screen to produce beeps when keyboard keys are pressed. Be very careful not to press a key which would change the bios settings - also stay well away from the passwords screen so as not to accidently add a password.
The keyboard volume must be turned up. Press the middle Arrow Up button 10 times.
When exiting the bios screen, go to > Restart > Exit Discarding Changes. Pressing the On Off button until the TP turns off may corrupt the bios
