Does x200s ultrabase need a SATA DVD?

I have a T61 that came with a DVD-RW that I also use in my X40 ultrabase... I presume that it's PATA. Does anyone know if I can use it in the X200S ultrabase, or does that need some newfangled SATA DVD? Thanks.

Since the X200 UltraBase supports the slim Blu-ray drive, it has to be SATA as there was no slim PATA Blu-ray drives available for ThinkPads.
