Logitech mouse killed my trackpad

#1 Post by bonjonno » Tue May 12, 2009 10:05 pm

I installed an MX500 mouse on my T43 with Mouseware 9.7 so I could program all the buttons. Worked great. But after unplugging it the only function that still worked on the trackpad was moving the cursor and tapping. No more scrolling or other features. What's worse, I could not bring up ultranav, Access IBM said it was missing. I then installed ultranav driver, ultranav utility, ultranav wizard and finally Trackpoint Accessibility Features. Still no sign of anything and now even the cursor movement is gone from the trackpad. It's totally non functioning. Also noticed there is no longer any Synaptics (I think) driver onboard. Anyone think they can help with my mess?

UPDATE: I got it fixed; had a problem extracting the IBM driver files. I'll post that separately
