I'd like to move only the service partition to a new 7200 disk. From there I will reinstall the XP OS from the new disk.
What is the best way to do it without calling Lenovo for a rescue and recovery CD? I have licensed copies of Ghost, Partion Magic, and Acronis. I tried this in the past, but could not get the blue ThinkVantage button to see the service partition.
Thanks in advance.
Edit, BTW my machine is a T60...
How to move the service partition to a new HDD?

make the recovery CD set and then run then recovery on the new HDD..
if you want to retain data, use acronie to clone the drive, one to the other..
