T400 Sd card reader upgrade?

I just bought a thinkpad t400 and the only thing I wished I ordered with it is a multi card reader.. does any one know if lenovo makes a internal one or if there is another company outside of lenovo that does.. I would like to add this feature with the use of usb cables etc. thanks for any help. p/s im new to the forum...

The easiest way to get an internal card reader would be one of the flush-fitting PC card adapters like this

You could get part 42X4993, which replaces the PC card/Express card cage with an Express card/7-in-1 card reader. They run around $65 but looking in the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the T400, a near complete disassembly of the laptop would be necessary to install it.

I believe Belkin does. I'm on my BlackBerry presently so I cannot look it up for you. I believe if you google it, you will find it.

Thank you so much for your help! I was just wondering if any one know of a company that can support up to 4gb of memory, i found a few online but when I go to purchase one, they are all out of stock. Thanks Again.....

I went the usb route with this. This is no bigger than a normal usb key.

You can look around, but there seems to be issues with either vista or size compatibilities depending on the media type.

This one seems to work with vista plus support up to 16 gb sd.

If you need to support other media, they have ones that support the n media types or geared like this one that support one particular media type.
