Increase battery life in Ubuntu

However my battery is in horrible shape! It can run for thirty minutes. That's it! Time for a new battery :)

Any other T4x people try "hpet=force"? I haven't measured the difference yet (big difference in powertop though).

Don't forget undervolting, which just became a bit harder to implement in 9.04. Fortunately there's this alternate kernel.
