Screen Squish
I've a question that maybe someone here can answer. I’ve taken very good care of my X61 and I don’t press hard on the screen at all, but occasionally the LCD goes all funky in the middle when I’m using the stylus. (Like any other LCD when you touch it.) Is it normal for tablets to do this occasionally or should I call it in before my warranty expires? I know it’s nothing I’ve done… If it's normal I can live with it, but if it's not supposed to happen I don't want it to.
560, 560, 560, (all in various stages of completion/possession of a screen) 600E that's pretty dead, and a spiffy new X61 Tablet.

I'd be interested in hearing comments about this effect from other X61T owners also. I just upgraded from an X41 Tablet to an X61 Tablet, and the effect is much more noticeable on the X61. I hardly ever saw it on the X41 unless pressing really hard.

Re: Screen Squish
I can't remember whether I ever got an answer for this somewhere else, but if I did I've forgotten.
Is it something to call in?

Re: Screen Squish
I would say it's something to call in. When I press on the center of my X61t screen with even my knuckle...it doesn't flex at all. Did you get the "multi-touch" screen? I have the normal "pen-only" screen (1440x1050) and it's solid.
Lenovo X61t.

Hmm, I've only got the pen screen too. I've noticed when the laptop is off and the sun is glaring on the screen protector, it looks kind of bowed in.
And the laptop gets ridiculously hot for no reason. :\ I thought ULV's weren't supposed to fry your legs.
