Source for replacement X60 stylus tips in Canada?

#1 Post by pkiff » Mon May 18, 2009 9:43 pm

Does anyone know of a source (store, online site, Lenovo outlet, or individual) for replacement stylus tips for an X60/X61 digitizer pen?

I've found this on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... 0341711451

But they want USD $15 for 5 tips + $14 shipping to Canada
= USD $29 for 5 tips
= USD $6/tip
And that just seems ridiculous to me.

Anyone know a cheaper source? (The source doesn't have to be in Canada, but just willing to ship here).

I'll post this in the Marketplace as a LookingFor ad, if no one has a standard source to recommend.

Thanks,

Phil.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize the X60/X61 pens were just standard Wacom pens and would take standard Wacom nibs. I can't quite tell if the Wacom nibs from the Intuos3 pens will also fit the X60/X61 pens.

Wacom does not ship to Canada via their e-Store at this time. But you would think I could find replacement nibs at any number of physical stores in Toronto. Wacom recommends that in Canada you use one of their resellers, including BestBuy, FutureShop, and Henry's.

If I find some for a reasonable price, I'll let folks know.
