Does anyone know whether 2007-DS1 has a flexview screen?

It is a T60p with a T7600 , sxga+, 15" screen.

If it's a 15" LCD in SXGA+ or UXGA resolution, it's a FlexView.

I just found out from HarryC that this will show up in Device Manager (monitor). Look and see.

I was contemplating buying another T60 but with the extra "p" at the end thus having the 5200 graphics card and a slightly faster CPU. It has a xga+ resolution. T7600

I already have a T60 with a 1400 graphics card 15" flexview and a xga+ resolution.

It's just that I just can't justify myself shelling out $750 for it unless you guys think it is a great price.

Ever since I bought thinkpads (my first about 2~3 years ago) I have become somewhat "addicted" to the specs and always wanted more.

It's just that I have found the keyboard to be the best of the best and this flex screen which is great without all the glossy crap which are on most computers nowadays. To top that off the form factor 4:3 is now all but obsolete in the laptop world unless for some freakish reason it will come back (which I don't forsee in the near future.)

So that is why I wanted the 2nd laptop but just can't seem to justify myself to buy unless you guys think it is a great deal.

Anyways thanks for reading my rant and tell me what you guys think about the T60p. (in also considering that I already have a T60).

I think you got an OK deal with the extra battery, case, and warranty. You can extend that warranty for 2 years by the way.
