quick question: what's the max cycle count of t41 6cell bat?

My T41's cycle count has been 126 after 6 month. I just wonder how long it will endure. Thank you very much.

The # of cycles doesn't determine the wear on the battery as much as how much you discharged.

If I discharged 10 Watt*Hrs 126 times, the battery would not be as degraded as compared to if I discharged 44 Watt*Hrs 126 times.

Deep cycling will reduce the battery life much faster than shallow cycling.

Figuring out when a battery is about to fail is an imprecise science at best...

You can check the battery health by clicking on the battery maximizer icon in the taskbar and selecting 'Battery Information' in the menu that comes up. Click on the 'Battery Health' button. If its green or yellow the battery will probably hold out awhile. If it's red you might want to start looking for a new battery!
