Intel 160GB High-Performance Solid-State Drive

#1 Post by miketoro » Tue May 26, 2009 6:35 am

Just saw the 160gb Intel SSD as a $450 upgrade on the x301 at shop.lenovo. I haven't checked the site in a few days, so I don't know how long its been up -- or how permanent it is. Nevertheless, it surprised me. I suppose the price isn't too bad either if its still retailing for $600.

For what its worth, I'm waiting to buy my x301 in the Fall when Win 7 is preinstalled, the price on this Intel drive comes down (I hope) and there are back-to-school sales to take advantage of. I'd like a 1.6 processor, too, but only if the price point works.
