On my new T500 the green indicators when you adjust volume/brightness seem to have gone away. I guess I must have accidently disabled the service that does this?
Does anyone know which one it is/how I get them back?
Thanks.
Wheres my volume/brightness indicators?
Re: Wheres my volume/brightness indicators?
This is the "On Screen Display" package. It should show up in the "Add or Remove Programs" (XP) or "Uninstall or change a program" (Vista) list of installed programs; if not, it's been inadvertently removed. It is apparently part of the Hotkey driver package, here -> http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-68000
Hope that helps!

Re: Wheres my volume/brightness indicators?
Its still listed in the services tab of msconfig, and it is checked off to run on startup. Nevertheless, I still have no indicators.NJ_Dave wrote:This is the "On Screen Display" package. I uninstalled the onscreen display package, reinstalled it using the link from above, and still nothing.
