Hello all,
I Have just acquired through the magic of ebay an X60s (L2400 blah blah)
But the product code printed on the bottom and detected on the machine is 'unrecognised' and not listed on the Lenovo site.
What does this mean? Is it just a large-run CTO order that they have assigned a code to? Does anyone understand the Lenovo/IBM logic?
The product code is 1703-WLR.
Definitely NOT 1702-WLR in case you ask.
Any ideas?
X60s has 'unknown' product code!

Re: X60s has 'unknown' product code!
I don't think logic has anything to do with it. First, I would try the link at the bottom of this message and see what comes up when you enter the 4-digit type and serial. Then, I would call their tech support number and explain the problem, saying you just got the machine and want to know warranty status. If the guy doesn't know what to do, ask if you need to talk to someone in the "entitlements" department.
