Systemboard and Upgrade questions

Well, haven't gotten any more replies on my other post so I'll look at it this way..

Should I be able to put the T3400...

...into the systemboard for my z60m (which appears to be a 478 socket but I'm not sure if the bus speeds are the same (or if that matters))?

Yes, many will ask WHY but I can get this processor for $70 and a new board (mine's fried, see other post) for ~$250. Yes, I know I can get the same (or slightly better) system for ~$500 but that's still $200 and I can use that towards a newer/more powerful computer in ~6 months and give this one to my wife .

You're looking at completely wrong set of CPUs.

Z60m platform utilizes Pentium M with a 533Mhz FSB. The fastest CPU that your unit will take is PM 780 that runs at 2.26 Ghz, this is a Dothan with 2MB L2 cache.
