Clean Install v. Factory Image Install (Problems)

I had the factory IBM image running on my tablet pc. After dealing with stuttering mouse and freezes I decided to install a fresh copy of xp tablet edition. When using the original IBM factory installation my screen orientation changed immediately when I rotated to tablet mode But now after fresh install it takes 25-30 seconds before the screen will change automatically. My tablet buttons work fine and I can change automatically. Could there be something embeddied in the IBM factory image that triggers the orientation and now its there but not quite as functional with a fresh install. Any thoughts

This has been solved. I was running the latest graphics driver from lenovo but intel had a more current one After downloading direct from Intel Now my screens auto rotates when I go into tablet mode.
