Standby Problem

#1 Post by atct86 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 2:16 pm

I just Finishsed loading my new 7K60 HD with XP, drivers, software and files.

I went to go into standby yesterday, and all seemed fine. Then later one I tried to get out fo standby, and i was greeted by the BSOD. It automatically restarted my computer, and i got a black BIOS screen where it said that no OS was found. SO i paniced, and tunred my computer off. 5 minutes later it booted up fine.

I tried to standby again and the same thing happened.

What could be doing this?
2.2ghz MacBook Pro

Dell 20.1" Widescreen - 2007WFP

I would remove and reseat the HD. Maybe a loose connection.

I do not belive this to be the problem, as When i have the laptop off, and then power up it always boots correctly.
