how do you find manufactured date of T42/

The type/serial sticker on the bottom of the machine also has the date (YY/MM) written on it.

On the bottom is a small sticker that looks like e.g. TYPE 2663-5BU 99-ABCDE 03/07
The 03/07 is the mfg date YY/MM, in the above example: 2003 July
