Help - Looking for a thread about power saving

#1 Post by CyberDude » Wed Jun 10, 2009 5:34 am

Some weeks ago I read a post about a guy that was trying to collate all information about powersaving under battery power into a single thread. He was basically listing the config scripts and setting to improve battery performance and had other people contributing with their settings. It was all developing into quite a comprehensive list of setting to maximise battery performance. Things like screen brightness, cpu under clocking, fan control, etc were discussed.

Unfortunately, I have lost the bookmark and I just cannot find that thread any more. I'm not even sure it was in this forum. Does anyone here recall that thread or has anyone come across it on another forum perhaps? If so please post the url as I would like to fine tune my battery power saving and that would save me a lot of time and hassle.

I've tried the search but none of the results seem to be what I'm looking for.
