I tried and successfully loaded Windows 7 RC1 (the real one not a P2P leaked version) on my Thinkpad R32 2658-N3F (memory is upgraded to 1GB and I seriously consider to upgrade to 2GB but not sure if really supported, some people claim that yes, and others said we can't) I will also probably get a bigger HDD soon but not sure, 30gb is tight but for what I'm doing, it still can do the job.
Now the only thing I can't get to work is the default volume keys, I've loaded the hotkey drivers successfully and they show up like they are working but they don't change the volume at all even too we can see the display incrustation working like if everything was right. The only option working is the mute key even too Windows think its not in mute mode the mute key is working well.
Anyone has any ideas what can be done, I know this laptop is pretty old and can't run the aero glass thing on his old ATI Mobility M6 with only 16mb dedicated to it, but I feel it still perform well under Windows 7, I'm pretty surprised of that thing.
