TPM failure? Error 13

#1 Post by hellosailor » Sat Jun 20, 2009 8:24 pm

My system error log (vista Ultimate 32, now SP2) has always shown errors from the TPM, which is enabled in the BIOS. From day one, to sp1, and now sp2, bios revisions and updates don't matter.

I called Lenono support on this a while back and they said it is a Vista problem, but MS of course says it is a vendor problem. Now that I've caught up on some other issues, I want to enable Bitlocker and don't dare do that while a crtiical part of Bitlocker (the TPM) is playing [censored] Queen on my computer.

So...Does anyone have any insight on this? So I just send it back to Camp Lenono and say "Takee Fixee" ? or keep calling until I find a tech who has something more useful to contribute?
