IBM sent me a new one

#1 Post by fjs08 » Thu Feb 03, 2005 3:23 pm

Hi,
As a follow up to my month long ordeal with EasyServ, I e-mailed the CEO of IBM and received a call from an IBM exec and to make a long, long story very short, today we received a new t42p unit.

Thanks for all your help.

Frank

Replacement

#3 Post by asiafish » Tue Feb 15, 2005 5:05 pm

I actually startred out with a T20 (bought used, under warranty) and after numerous repairs, IBM replaced it with a brand-new T22 (this was just when the T30 was released).

That T22 has been going strong for almost 4 years now, and is absolutely the best laptop PC I've ever owned. I briefly moved to an X21 (bought used), but sold it and went back to the T22, mainly for the screen (same resolution, just larger).

Nice to hear that they're still responding when you email Sam.
