Multiple instances of pwmidtsk.exe

I recently upgraded to version 1.52 of Power Manager and noticed that multiple instances of the pwmidtsk.exe process are running. I'm seeing 3 to 5 of them at a time in Task Manager. Is that normal?

System: T400 running XP 2002 SP3
