FS: Lenovo-branded Seagate 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm SATA HDD

#1 Post by AvalonXIII » Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:04 pm

Hello guys,
I have up for sale a Lenovo-branded Seagate 7200.2 160GB 7200rpm harddrive. The drive was pulled out of my X200s laptop immediately after I received my laptop, so it is virtually brand new and fully functional. The drive is formatted clean. Using HDTune, I have confirmed that the drive doesn't have any bad sector whatsoever. Having a Lenovo-branded drive is very convenient for warranty purposes if you own a Thinkpad. The FRU is 42T1439. Also, the drive is guaranteed to work great with Lenovo Active Protection System with no issue (There are some retail HDDs that don't work very well with APS). I'm asking for $40 shipped for the drive. I accept Paypal. The harddrive will be shipped in a antistatic bag via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.

Here's a picture of the actual item:

I have sold several laptops on here, including X60s and T60. I also have an ebay account, forneus00, with 60 feedbacks and 100% positive.

Special Bonus! I can install a fresh copy of either Windows XP or Vista or 7 for you with all drivers, if you want to use the drive in the Thinkpad X200 or X61s (the two laptop models I have). Of course, to keep this deal legal, you have to have your own CD key to activate Windows.

Nice hard drive.I dont need one but had a question on the X200 and X61 you have in your sig.
You list them both as haveing Flexview screens.I dident think the Flexview was on the X200 wide screen.
I always thought the last Flexview screen was for the X61 Tablet. And only in the 4:3 lcd's.

It's not a mistake. I replaced the screen in my X200 with a Flexview screen. I posted information about this here:

The X61s retrofitted with SXGA+ that I have is from Korea by microwave. He's the first person ever to perform this great mod. Erik (the admin on this forum) posted details about this here:

It would work in my Toshiba Satellite A135-S2356, right?. The current hard drive is a Hitachi HTS541680J9SA00
http://www.hitachigst.com/hdd/support/5k160/5k160.htm , basically an 80 GB, 5400 rpm SATA drive.

E-mail me direct through the forum. I can't seem to stay logged on from visit to visit and so I usually read the forum as a guest. DO NOT PM me; I will likely never see it.

PM sent too.

I appreciate your help, but I don't see any mention of a R60e. Perhaps you reply to the wrong thread?

I swear there was a post there asking if it worked in the R60e. I dunno where it went.

Probably somebody erased his post.
Also, item is no longer available. Mods can lock this. Thanks.
