How to remove recovery partition from r50e thinkpad

#1 Post by rachitdhasmana » Mon Jun 29, 2009 4:33 am

Hi

I am using r50e thinkpad, which came with 40 gb hdd. out of this around 5gb is utilized as recovery partition which i no longer require.

i did unhide and unprotect that partition from bios setting by setting the option disabled for the pre set partition.

but i am still not able to format the partition.

please provide me details how can i format that partition and merge it with my existing c drive.

thanks and regards
Rachit

How to perform what? Burn an .iso, or run a bootable CD, or run gparted? All three?

Try with any partition tool (like partition magic). It should work fine.
