Volume of speakers in z61t

Is there anyway I can get the speakers of my z61t to sound louder??..they're barely audible esp' in a noisy environ'.
IBM T40, Z61t.

You can perhaps use audio programs with built in mixers, that allow you to boost the volume beyond what Windows considers maximum. But then it will probably just sound like crap.

Hi there again dr_st, thanks for the reply..thought so as much...and yea, didn't try it out as am sure the sound will crack/break..

I have the same problem. I'm assuming you turned up all the volume, including the laptop keys and the Windows volume control.
