External display as primary at all times, R61

I have Win7 RC1 x64, on my R61. I also have an external display connected to it. When I had Vista, using the Fn+F7 combo I could make my external display my primary one and it would be as such ALWAYS, no matter what I did to the lid or whatever.

Now with Win7, I have to manually switch to the external display. Meaning that whenever I boot up the computer or close and open the lid, the laptop display is the main display, and it's quite annoying. The lid settings have been set to "do nothing" and that's certainly not the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this and maybe knows how to fix it?

There may be a way to do what you want by changing the BIOS video settings. Check the Config/Display menu and see if there's a "Boot Display Device" option. Set it to CRT. At least this is what's in my T23 and should work regardless of what OS you are using (I would think).
