A friend of mine's T21 started going blank after the windows logo. I discovered that Fn F7 would make the desktop appear. She has never had an external monitor, nor has she ever knowingly hit Fn F7.
Now that she knows what to hit, it is not a major problem., but it continues to happen each time it boots.
Does anyone know of a setting that would cause Windows 98 to do thiis?
Windows 98 switches to external monitor at boot.
