heat gun rental

My fleabay T43 2688-CTO has both the GPU and USB2 issues.

Anyone know where one can rent or borrow a heat gun and IR thermometer in the tri-state area?

Home depot has heat guns.

Otherwise pretty much any rental store.

Our local rental store has them, $15 for 4 hours: http://www.rental-centerusa.com/pgsequip/painting.html

You could even use a heat gun from the craft store, used for embossing. They're about $15-$20 new.

I don't know where you can rent an IR thermometer, but you might ask the rental stores as well.
