I pulled the 10 screws holding the bottom cover (along with the HD and mem. cover screws) and it's still not budging. Does the plastic bezel with the "X22"logo behind the keyboard need to be pryed up also (to access screws) or is there some other trick?
How do I open an X22?
How do I open an X22?
A friend of mine gave me an X22 with a trashed mainboard, and I was wondering how to actually get it open in order to work on/replace the motherboard?

Page 63 of the .pdf doc shows that once all screws are off the bottom, and the battery has been pulled, there'a a small blue button (inside the battery compartment) that needs to be depressed.
Actually it's a rubber cushion attached to the bottom of the keyboard. once you press on that, the keyboard flips up exposing the remaing screws that hold the X22 together.
-Sorry I missed it in FAQ.

Welcome to the Forums and I wasn't really beating on you, just suggesting that a read of the FAQ by newbies is a good first step.
