hmm, if I ever get the chace I'll have to find that spot and do my own photo work...I'm sure it'd look even better at sunset on a nice day. I can't be more than 30 minutes that general area...haha, well, maybe add an hour depending on traffic...

What is that big red A icon? Are you 20% above your daily carb intake?

I've decided to go minimalist again for a while:

Image

Got rid of Yzdock, and the quicklaunch. All programs are accessed throuh a path directory by the Win-R run dialogue (which is ironically faster than clicking on an icon).

Background is a composite I put together of one of those false-color satellite earth maps, with a satellite city-lights image superimposed.

I can't wait for LClock to let us display time/day/date like a standard 2-unit high Windows taskbar so I can get rid of the Coolmon kludge I've been using :)

Thanks! It actually took some time to align the lights with the landmass edges - apparently not all satellite projections are equal.

I had an active desktop script a while ago that would slowly fade between images of nighttime and day, kind of like the fading backgrounds in OS X. So far, nobody ever called me the fact that it's never nighttime the whole world round 8)

Kenn, great desktop.. I like how it differs from mine in that yours has color. Unfortunately, yours seems to be missing most of Asia. Nevertheless, please throw up link to it bro! It's a good pic! 8)

About time for a new theme/desktop:

Visual Style is Luna Element 4.2a

Background is a random blue "abstract" bacground that I gaussian-blurred into oblivion.

Coolmon info display at the bottom right. CHC's CPU temp in the tray. Shadows courtesy of Y'z Shadow.

Go to: http://www.pbase.com/kenn/image/49626591 for a full-size (1600x1200 screencap:
