Problem with loading Win 7 RC

I downloaded the Win 7 RC from microsoft and burned a DVD of it. When I try to load it on to my T61, it tells me it cant find the drivers. I am assuming it is looking for CD-Rom drivers. Anyone had this problem?

Also...I already have Win 7 on the laptop and I am trying to do a clean install with the new one.

If you already have Windows 7 installed your machine is there a reason to re-do it? If you really want to re-install Windows 7 just boot over the disk you created, and press any key at the prompt, just like the first time you installed Windows 7.
