Re: X60s - X60 : which are the difference betwen the two models?
I'd say no, since the X60 and X60s take different CPUs (which are soldered to the mobo), but I cannot be 100% sure.

Re: X60s - X60 : which are the difference betwen the two models?
An X60s motherboard will fit into an X60, but not vice versa. The X60 motherboard has a larger fan than the X60s, and that larger fan will not fit in the fan cavity of the X60s case. However, you can buy a bottom case for an X60 for very little, and solve the problem that way.

Re: X60s - X60 : which are the difference betwen the two models?
-- X60 processors are not low voltage, so they consume battery power faster.OMNIBUS wrote:... other techinacal differences?
-- The slimline X60s battery will not fit the X60 case; the other batteries will fit both cases.
The new motherboard you get (x60 or X60s) may or may not have two mini-PCIe slots, i.e., if you need internal WWAN, then make certain that the second mini-PCIe slot exists on the new motherboard.
