Can WD 80gb work on T43?

Hi all,
Im new on T43, I won a bit on T43 2668 without HD. Can one tell me which PATA Hard drive compatible on T43 without Error 2010? I have tried my WD 80 PATA on T40 without ERRoR. Don't know can it work on T43 too?

Welcome to the forum.

You will get an error on a T43 with a WD drive.

The only ones that do not trigger the error apart from OEM IBM drives are newer Fujitsus, such as MHV2100AH and 2120AH.

What about Hitachi Travelstar 60gb PATA model :HTS541060G9AT00??

If it's IBM-issued with a FRU number, it will work fine. If not, the error will be there.
