The machine a T60p would be stuck in BIOS at the thinkpad logo, if the fingerprint reader is connected.
However after disconnecting it, and letting it pass the bios if plugged in at the windows starup menu, it works. Windows sees it, thinkvantage finger print scanner , scans the images and shows up in device manager fine.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour. Using zenders bios. It worked fine before this with that bios for sometime, I loaded linux SuSE 11.1 and enabled fpr login in that, that worked fine. Loaded tp_smapi and enabled HDAPS and that worked fine also.
