x41 laptop Missing Drivers and Compact Flash Hard Drive?

I have an IBM touchpad x41 2525 6NU laptop.
I have XP windows pro w/ service pack 3 installed.

I don’t know what they are on the IBM website or where to look on my computer.
The drivers I’m missing are:

Location 0 (Biometric Coprocessor)
on Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller – 2641
on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller

I’m also wondering if anyone has gotten a Compact Flash hard drive adapter to work on this laptop? Do I need any drives for windows XP? Dose it work with other operating system? I have heard about at these websites:

Try Windows Install Supplement and Finger print software.

Yes, there are quite a bit written here about running on CF using a CF-IDE adapter. Start with this one and search for others.

Okay, I finaly got the the finger print software instaled. Here is what I did.

I went to the IBM website and downlaoded fprx32_584_5476ww.exe the file for the fingerpirnt software. I instaled it and it was instaled to

C:\SWTOOLS\APPS\Fingerprint\fprx64_584_5476ww

Before I didn't understand that you had to go to the directory listed above and instal the setup.msi file. I though that fprx32_584_5476ww.exe was the driver and it instaled it allready. After running the setup.msi file and rebooting my comptuer the driver finaly got instaled. WOW what a confusing driver to instal. Couldn't have the ibm website just given you the setup.msi. Insted of giving you two diffrent files to instal? It makes the instalation process so complicated. Oh well it works. now.

Still nedd more dirves if anwayone knows what they are or how to instal them. They are

Usually there are two steps, expand the file then install the driver or run the install utility.

Drivers are mostly expanded to \\drivers\win\... and utilities are expanded to \\drivers\w2k\...

A few exception like the FP and BT utilities may be expanded to other directories.

Thanks, I was able to find the other two drivers I was looking for and Instal them.
