Wireless card type???

#1 Post by emeraldgirl08 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 11:01 pm

Is there a way I could find out what type of wireless card I have w/o opening up my R52?

I got this R52 barebones but used an spare T30 HDD that I had to install W7. I installed the audio okay and am ready to flash BIOS and embedded controller.

If you have any suggestions please enlighten me. I right-click on computer>>manage>>device manager>>nothing is listed under wireless. I do see a couple of yellow triangles in other areas so I'm guess that one of those is the wireless card.

The program Unknown Devices will usually give you enough information to narrow down your search. It may not give you the exact model of the device but will let you know the manufacturer.

What's the 7-character model number of your R52?

I'm going to post this in the W7 thread guys.

Maybe someone there is more likely to see it and give me a result that worked for them.

I'm ready to go to bed anyway. I got errands and work tomorrow.

Thanks for all the help guys!
