IBM Support in Netherlands.
I wanted to order a palmrest without the touchpad for my T40. since the touchpad one is quite fragile and annoying, and I never use it anyway. So I emailed IBM parts in Netherlands asking for that part number and a method to pay other that giving my details over the phone. 20 mins later, I received a call from a very kind gentleman, informing me that since the price of the palmrest is very low (something like 9 euros) they won't charge me, but will send it with a null invoice to my address within 5 days. And all that, without me even giving my T40's serial! IBM support in the UK was very good, but this is impressive! Now, if only the lazy technicians in IBM Greece ever picked up the phone...
A very good word for...
