FS: T42p UXGA project laptop

#1 Post by mr.motoring » Thu Aug 06, 2009 12:54 pm

If anyone is looking for a project laptop, I have a T42p with a cracked UXGA screen. It comes complete with a charger and an almost new 6-cell battery (about 15 cycles with first use in January 09). The WinXP COA however, is missing from the bottom. The recovery partition has been created from my set of recovery discs (not included) onto the 40GB hard drive, and WinXP has been installed from the partition to test everything.

If anyone has a spare UXGA LCD lying around, this laptop could use it. Or, I do have a spare SXGA+ FlexView I could install as well. I just wanted to see first before downgrading this fine 'p' with the SXGA+ LCD. This screen itself is in very good condition. Overall, the laptop is in good, clean condition, with minimal wear on the top lid, keyboard, and palmrest. I can take pics if anyone would like to see it.

T42p (2373-KXU)
