Power Management Issue

#1 Post by pacman99 » Thu Aug 06, 2009 7:03 pm

I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue under Windows 7 64bit. I have a Lenovo T61 and was having trouble configuring the Power Management software from Lenovo to work as intended.
I've been trying to tell the software to only charge my battery when it has under 80% charge left. However, 1 min after enabling that setting in Lenovo's Power Manager, my battery starts charging again.

I downloaded both the Power Management driver and software from Lenovo's Windows 7 Beta page and it still isn't helping. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I installed the Win7 Levonvo power management software and it doesn't work at all. I'm waiting for the final drivers.

I installed the win 7 beta version and it works, but I can't select any profiles. When I click on Launch Power Manager, nothing happens...

Guess we have to wait for the next one.

Have you installed the "Lenovo System Interface Driver"? I believe that is needed for several different drivers.

Also, did you install "ACPI Power Management" in addition to "Power Manager"? That is probably needed as well.
