I tried pressing the blue ThinkVantage button when turning on my T60 today, and it took me straight into the Rescue and Recovery utility. Prior to doing a factory install recently, when I pressed the blue button, it showed me a menu with 3 options, one of which was to go into the BIOS. Now that menu is gone.
EDIT: I see that I can still press F1 to get into the BIOS. Is the ThinkVantage button supposed to automatically go into the R&R utility, or should it display a menu?
Cannot access BIOS anymore?
Re: Cannot access BIOS anymore?
If you figure it out, it will likely change next week or next month or some other time soon. Since the software is controlled by Lenovo, rather than IBM, the process is different with every upgrade. I hit F1 to go to the BIOS, F12 for a boot menu, and the blue button for any other functions. It seems that whichever I choose, what comes back is different from last time.
