All,
Lenovo has announced a new battery replacement program for selected batteries experiencing "Irreparable damage" or "Battery can not be charged" for a limited time beyond the warranty period.
Like previous programs of a similar nature, this is web-only fix-on-fail replacement. Authorized service providers are not eligible to submit claims for batteries failing outside of the warranty period. Batteries within the first year warranty should be handled business as usual and claims filed accordingly. Please see below for more details.

Re: August 2009 - another battery recall (sort of) for T60s
The website from lenovo doesn't provide so much details.
And my battery is in the list and I am from Hong Kong area, so, I can't replace my battery?
Admin edit: Removed entire quoted message as it's quite evident what's being responded to.
