Bios update from another ThinkPad?

I'm seeing of updating my ThinkPad 560X bios, would the 560Z bios work and also how can I update my IBM ThinkPad splash logo screen to the new lenovo ThinkPad splash screen? Would a ThinkPad X60 bois have the new style splash logo?

Kinda would like to have my old laptop look like my new ones.

The very fastest way to ruin a laptop is to put the wrong BIOS on it. I would not bother if I were you.
