Looking for a T40 fan replacement - discontinued???

I am wondering where one goes to find a replacement cooling fan for a ThinkPad T40. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that part #13N5442 was the one to get (the "long" fan). Upon calling Lenovo, however, it appears they are out of stock on this part and see no future date for any more to come in (discontinued?) - so they cannot even backorder this for me. They did say they hoped to have a substitute fan (Part #91P9252) available to ship by the end of the week, but I am not convinced this is the best solution (it looks completely different than the model being substituted for). I was looking at other vendors - such as NotebookParts.com (a refurb for a decent price), but don't feel comfortable ordering from an unknown vendor (some of the comments/reviews I read about NotebookParts.com, for example, were very mixed - DOA parts, incorrect parts, etc).

Any suggestions on where to go for a replacement fan?

Thanks - I placed an order based on your recommendation. The fan sounds like an old prop plane, but TPFanControl keeps it much quieter.
