Wireless Connection Problem

#1 Post by kd3yt1 » Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:37 am

T43P 2668-89U Windows XP SP3
When I first turn my thinkpad on, it does not connect to my wireless router. If I right click on the wireless connection icon and and click on repair, it will eventually connect.

I bought a second hard drive and installed Linux Ubontu 9.04. It connects to my wireless router as soon as it boots up.

Is there a setting in XP that might be causing this??

Wi-Fi on my T42 has always been flaky unless I use Access Connections. You might want to try that if you're just using XP's WZC.
